Our school uniform helps create a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. We expect all pupils to wear the correct uniform each day and we aim to keep it simple, comfortable, and affordable for families.

 

EYFS uniform:

• white polo shirt
• dark grey school trousers, skirt or pinafore dress
• navy cardigan or v neck jumper
• grey socks or tights
• black school shoes (no trainers or boots)
• Optional: Mevagissey School fleece
• Optional: blue and white check summer dress, grey shorts for summer term

 

KS1 and KS2 uniform:

• white shirt

• dark grey school trousers, skirt or pinafore dress
• navy cardigan or v neck jumper (with or without school logo)

• school tie (order on ParentPay)

• grey socks or tights
• black school shoes (no trainers or boots)
• Optional: Mevagissey School fleece
• Optional: blue and white check summer dress, grey shorts for summer term

 

PE kit:

• white t shirt
• black shorts
• trainers, not plimsolls
• in cold weather: plain black tracksuit trousers or black leggings and a sweatshirt
• Swimming: swimsuit or swimming trucks

 

Jewellery and accessories

• children should not wear jewellery to school; children who have their ears pierced should wear a pair of small studs
• children may wear a watch to school; we encourage the use of analogue watches to practice the skill of telling the time, but if digital watches are worn, they should have no additional features or functionality (e.g. messaging, calling, photography, gaming)
• smart watches are not allowed in school

 

All school uniform can be purchased (without logos) from local supermarkets. If you wish your child to wear items branded with the school logo (e.g. jumper, cardigan, fleece), these can be purchased from Cornwall Screenprint and Embroidery.

 

We also hold regular ‘pre-loved’ uniform sales after school and at school events. Please contact the school office to find out when the next event is, or to enquire about the availability of certain items.
